SPECIFIC OPTIONAL CROSS-CURRICULAR SKILLS TRAINING
ACTIVITY 1: Stays in universities nad research centres

Minimum stay of one month -4 weeks, 40 hours per week-, with the possibility to split it into shorter periods.
Specific training activity consisting of the doctoral student's mobility to national and international renowned universities and research centres to carrying out research tasks related to their thesis topic.
Time planning: This one-month activity can be developed throughout the PhD programme within the period established for each of the two registration options (full-time and part-time), and can be split into shorter periods, particularly in the case of part-time students.
The language of instruction will be the one used at the host universities and research centres.
During the stay, PhD candidates will work under the supervision of a lecturer/researcher at the corresponding centre, who will make a final report based on the student's performance during the stay. This report will reflect, other than the research activities, any other doctoral training activity carried out during the stay (e.g. attendance to seminars and specialised courses). The tutor will be sent this report and add it to the PhD Activity Record, along with a certificate issued by the unit responsible for the stay at the university or research centre.
Mobility funding for PhD students according to the criteria established in the corresponding announcements.
The minimum duration is one month, and can be split into shorter time periods depending on the students’ availability, especially in the case of part-time PhD candidates.
